The Uganda Bureau of statistics together with the Uganda ministry of Finance and Economic planning has formed committees to help In preparation of the forth coming Census (2023).
The minister in charge of Ministry of Finance and Economic planning Amos Lugoloobi gave goals and objectives of these committees, for cases of awareness of what should be collected and it’s use for progress.(Plan for National statistics and development).
Efforts have been put to save what has been collected and with well laid strategies of airing out information and monitoring people through the Parish Development Modal Method.
This method is to depend on Family heads since they will be able to provide information about their families and with this they will be provided with information on how and what should be done to help in country development by the Uganda Bureau of statistics.
“This project will take Five years with a budget of 800 billion shillings and With the help of these six committees ,it will be easy to generate Information about people in all aspects for this calling for cooperation” ,said Dr.chris Mukiza, minister in charge of the Uganda Bureau of statistics.
