In a statement issued this morning by our president H.E Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert alias Bobi Wine, he delves deep into concerns raised by our greater Mukono leader Hon. Abdullah Kiwanuka. In a video clip, Hon. Kiwanuka narrates how the regime has been approaching some of our comrades who were abducted during and after the 2021 general elections.
He explains that several have been asked to accuse our leaders with being behind their enforced disappearance. This however is debunked as seen in this July 5, president’s statement:

By H.E Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert

Some of our comrades who were abducted and severely tortured during the last election have been approached with promises of money and other favors so that they’re paraded at Kololo and claim that they were abducted by NUP or that they were lying about their stories- like they have done in the past.

Thankfully, some of those who were approached and rejected these evil offers have reached out to us! While the regime makes a fool of itself, celebrating 40 years of bringing pain and misery upon our people, they even want to mock them by engaging them in these tired stunts!

Then there is another category of people who have been approached by regime operatives and some of our detractors and promised money, and asked to put on NUP/ People Power attire and pretend to ‘physically attack’ those detractors in the hope that they will get some sympathy and project themselves as very relevant! Thankfully, many of those who are engaged to participate in such stunts will normally inform us about these shameless plans.

The regime and its tools often forget that they’re dealing with a generation which can read through all these stunts and lies. We are AWAKE.
