Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gen. Jeje Odongo discussed issues pertaining to Human Rights with Robert Kotchani, who is the Country Representative of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) on Wednesday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) Headquarters in Kampala.
Gen.Odongo thanked the OHCHR’s office for the cooperation with and development support to Uganda.
The minister further commended OHCHR for their support especially in areas of capacity building and the Universal Periodic Review process.
Robert Kotchani, in the same spirit, congratulated Gen. Odongo upon his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and expressed his readiness and commitment to enhance operations of his office.
The Country representative also expressed his appreciation of the collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in promoting, protecting, and advancing Human Rights in Uganda.
