Together as forces of change, we spent the entire day in Nairobi, Kenya, commemorating two years since the November massacre at an event that was hosted by the Kenya Human Rights Commission.
We are very grateful to them for providing us with such a platform to enable us to further our voices against the oppression of the regime.
We thank the Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC) for doing what would have ordinarily been expected of the Uganda Human Rights Commission (UHRC) by standing with us to demand for justice for the victims of the killings and abductions.
Victims of state brutality who are alive; family members of those who have been murdered, and those whose loved ones have been abducted and their whereabouts remain mysterious have all been present and have narrated their respective painful stories. We are very grateful to all the leaders from the different political formations who joined us at the event.
